Thank you to all of our Pirates and Sports Stars for supporting our dress up day and raising $637.50 for Starlight Children’s Foundation, in conjunction with their Starlight Smile Project.
“The Starlight Smile Project inspires children to raise smiles and dollars through performing acts of kindness at home, school and in their community. Funds raised will help bring smiles to the faces of seriously ill children and their families.
Underpinned by the principles of positive psychology, the Starlight Smile Project spreads smiles in the community in much the same way Starlight does in hospitals!
We’re inspiring kids to be nice, kind and helpful by putting thought into what would make a member of their family or community happy.”
One of their suggestions was a dress up day at school – thank you to all of our wonderful Campbell community for making this such a success, the Campbell Primary School P&C is happy to help coordinate such a worthwhile event.
