From the Principal – Student Pick Up Today

Dear parents/carers,

Firstly I thank you for your support and patience with the drop-off this morning. This went very smoothly. It has been an extremely busy morning with the clean–up following the storm and I am pleased to advise that both early childhood rooms impacted by the fallen trees have been checked by a building inspector and are structurally sound. The impact from the trees falling was largely taken by verandahs and shelter above the sandpit.  Our students have now been given the all clear to be back in their classrooms.

Unfortunately, the damage to the car park area is extensive and due to road damage and ongoing strong winds we will be requesting parents to pick up their child/ren at the following points. Works will continue in the parent car park tomorrow. Drop off tomorrow will be as was today. Staff will be out ready to collect your children. On Packenham Road. We hope to see the parent car park reopen in the next few days.

The only gates open this afternoon for pick up will be the double gate on the school oval near the undercover area and the Service road gate on Hockley Loop.
