Important Event This Thursday

The most important hour you will spend this year is almost here!

This Thursday 11 April 2019 at 6.30pm in the undercover area, Paul Litherland, renowned cyber-safety presenter Paul Litherland an ex-police officer, will be hosting a Partnerships with Parents workshop about the increasingly complex and vitally important topic of cyber-safety!

This is a do not miss event even if you have attended this session before. Technology is ever changing and at a fast pace, there is always something new to learn about the online safety of your children.

Feedback from parents who attended last year;

“That would have had to have been the most relevant “parenting” class I have ever been to. Raising a child in this day and age, it is imperative that we are able to stay up to date with technology and this session gave us so many tools on not only what to look out for, but how to communicate with our child. Would absolutely recommend that every parent attend a session as soon as they can!”

“An eye opening and informative session. I was unaware of many of the complicated issues around my child’s use of technology but instead of leaving frightened, I felt well-informed and equipped to work alongside my child to ensure their safety online. Paul’s calm and practical approach gave me to tools I need to help my child navigate the online world.”

Parents can expect information about the threats to their child’s safety online, some practical strategies to make devices more cyber-safe, as well as ideas to help to educate and protect children in an online environment.
