Partnerships with Parents Workshop – Split Classes

A very informative Partnerships with Parents workshop was presented this morning by Ms Lynne Bates, Principal on Split Classes at Campbell Primary School.

The workshop outlined the rationale for split classes, how the school decides classes and dispelled the myths surrounding split classes, providing research from Professor John Hattie. Professor Hattie is a researcher in education. His research interests include performance indicators, models of measurement and evaluation of teaching and learning.
