Earlier this year our ELT2A Kindy students made the nest for the Reading Egg to travel around the City of Gosnells as part of Paint the Town REaD.
There had been so much singing, reading, rhyming, playing and talking to the egg that it had grown so big and out popped a very large possum! How did a possum hatch from an egg? It’s a miracle!
The possum’s name is Paige. Her favourite colour is blue and her most favourite pastime is to read and also listen to stories. Of course Paige loves to sing, draw, rhyme and play too. She visited the library at Campbell Primary School to see Kindy students from ELT2A because she really wanted to thank them for making such a cosy beautiful nest.
