2022 Tim Winton Award for Young Writers
is open for entries!
The City of Subiaco is proud to present the 2022 Tim Winton Award for Young Writers. Back for it’s 30th year, the awards encourage imagination, innovation and creativity.
Entry is open to Western Australian school students in years one to twelve. Submit an original piece of prose writing, no more than 2000 words in length.
Submit your entries before 5.30pm on Friday 12 August.
Award finalists will be announced in mid-September and recognised at a presentation ceremony in mid-October. The best works entered in the award will be displayed in a public exhibition for one month at Subiaco Library.
Entries open at 9.30am on Monday 18 July.
