These recipients were selected based on their effort, focus, improvement or achievement in Writing. On Friday, to celebrate their hard work they were provided with the unique opportunity to share their morning tea time with Ms Van der Wielen, Campbell’s very own Author in Residence. In this small group setting Ms Van der Wielen imparted her love of writing, provided some insight into the skills and processes involved in writing a book and explained how and why she became an author. It is evident from the smiles on the faces of all involved it was an exciting and special experience to be a part of.
