Did you know on average children laugh 300 times per day, yet adults may only laugh 10-15 times?
We were born knowing how to laugh and we still have the ability to giggle, chuckle and guffaw out loud – we just need to put it into practice!
Laughter Yoga is a guided group activity which turns fake laughter into real laughter. It consists of hand clapping rhythms, breathing exercises from yoga and playful laughter games. The brain can’t tell the difference between pretend and natural laughter so we get all the health benefits anyway.
Parents are invited to reconnect with the Campbell community at a series of three Come and Try Laughter Yoga sessions in the library with local laughter leader Janet Whitfield.
