Research indicates that for a child with a learning difficulty or disability their self-esteem and ability to “bounce back” from challenges is just as important (if not more important) to their future success as the remediation they receive. This free workshop focuses on giving parents strategies to develop their child’s resilience.

Anxiety in Children (Attend Online)

Tuesday 7 September 9:30am – 11:30am, online

Although it is common for children to experience worries and feel anxious at times, it is not surprising that a child with Dyslexia or other learning difficulties may also experience anxiety as they manage frustrating or stressful situations throughout their day at school. This workshop will look at why anxiety occurs and the signs to be aware of. It will also provide some helpful strategies on how to support children experiencing these challenges.
