From the Principal – Canteen Update

Dear Parents/Carers,

We are pleased to advise that we have accepted a tender for the operation of our school canteen, with a start day of Monday 15 February 2021, Week 3, Term 1.  Based on parent survey, results the days of operation will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Whilst we await the official start date for our new canteen operators from next Wednesday 3 February 2021, we would like to offer our families the option of placing a school order for lunch through Subway, Canning Vale on Wednesday or Thursday for the first two weeks.

Please Note: No recess items will be available for purchase for Week 1 and Week 2.

Students can choose from four options of a Subway for $5.00 each – NO variations or omissions are available:

  1. Turkey and Salad Sub
  2. Ham and Salad Sub
  3. Vegetable Sub
  4. Pizza Sub
  • White bread ONLY
  • Salad includes lettuce, cucumber and tomato

Condiments available – please mark clearly on the envelope

  • Mayonnaise
  • Tomato Sauce

Orders need to be placed in a labelled envelope with the correct change of $5.00 enclosed. See below.

Subway require all orders to be in two days before the lunch day, they are unable to accommodate for any orders on the day. Therefore, if your child is ordering for the Wednesday the order and money needs to be handed into the class teacher on Monday morning.

We look forward to our canteen operating in week 3 of Term 1.

Parents are reminded that recess and lunch will need to be provided from home on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
