Dear parents/carers of Year 3 & 5 students,
As you are aware, NAPLAN testing for Year 3 & 5 students commences next week. Please see the schedule below:

Please be advised that the schedule is subject to change if needed. Also note that a large window of time has been allocated for each test to allow troubleshooting should technical issues arise. Tests are between 40-50 minutes long each.
We ask that parents aim to have their children to school on time, particularly the Year 3 students as this allows them time to settle into class before the tests commence. If your child is sick or unable to attend school, please advise the classroom teacher or front office staff. Your child will be given the opportunity to sit the missed test either in the afternoon of Week 1 or in Week 2 of the testing period.
Finally, I would like to acknowledge the hard work of our Year 3 and 5 teachers in preparing students for NAPLAN, both academically and in familiarising students with the NAPLAN platform. We encourage parents to approach any discussions around NAPLAN with their children in a positive manner, reminding them to simply do their best.
