On Wednesday 18 May 2021, Campbell Primary School launched into reading ‘Give me some Space!’ by Philip Bunting as part of the National Simultaneous Storytime event for 2021. This annual initiative run by The Australian Library and Information Association promotes the value of literacy and reading. Every year an Australian book and author is selected, and this book is read simultaneously across Australia.
It was wonderful to see students and teachers alike enjoying and engaging with this entertaining text. A variety of learning activities related to the story were completed within classrooms across the school.
