National Water Week

Theme: “Caring for Water and Country”.

We live on the world’s driest inhabited continent so we need to understand how to save and supply water. Recently the Yira Yaakin incursion held at Campbell Primary School told the story of  Bilya Kaatijin (First Nation Peoples Fresh Water Knowledge). We acknowledge the Noongar People, caring for Country and living harmoniously within the environment in a sustainable way.

The Waterwise School Program resources, produced by the WA Water Corporation, provide a tailored educational experience for our students, fully aligned to the Western Australian curriculum objectives.  Their website also has many ideas for families to preserve and conserve the water supply available to us as consumers.
