Parent Interviews: Early Close Wednesday 27 July 2022
Parents/carers that wish to discuss their child’s report with the classroom teacher/s and or specialist teachers, have the opportunity to do so during the scheduled early close on Wednesday 27 July 2022. The purpose of these meetings is to provide a formal opportunity for teachers and parents/carers to discuss any concerns regarding student achievement, progress and learning behaviours as reflected in the Semester 1 report and establish goals for improved learning and achievement. Students from Years 4-6 are invited to attend these meetings with their parent/carer; siblings will need to wait outside of the classroom. We expect that some parents do not have concerns regarding their child’s report and will therefore opt not to attend a meeting. However, if your child’s report indicated interview required, we request you make a booking to meet with your child’s teacher/s.
The school will close at 11.30am; students are to be collected from their class at this time. If you would like your child to walk/ride home or be collected by someone different it is important that you provide the class teacher with written permission via an email or note. Parents are asked to make alternative arrangements for their child/ren from 11.30am on this day.
The booking of parent interviews with teachers will be done online through the website School Interviews http://www.schoolinterviews.com.au/
Please note that the interviews are strictly 10 minutes (within a 15-minute booking slot) and we would ask that all parents are aware of this time limit. Parents who wish to make a longer appointment please contact the School Administration or see the class teacher.
