On 21 August 2019 all students had the privilege of attending the Wanjoo Come Sing With Me incursion. The hosts were Gina and Guy.
Guy played the acoustic guitar while Gina sang. We had the opportunity of listening to some of the indigenous people’s songs which educated us about their culture and language. They taught us dreamtime stories and made sure we had a lot of fun for the whole time. Some stories included the story of Bindi Bindi the butterfly and the magpie and crow. All songs and stories made sure that everybody was involved and having a good time. Thank you Gina and Guy for teaching us new Noongar songs to practice. We all enjoyed the incursion.
