On Friday 11 June 2021, our Year 5 and 6 girls footy team placed in 6th position in the South Central School Sport Association Girls AFL Carnival. The girls were tackling machines and played without any subs for three and a half games! Unlike all the other schools competing, we had no girls in our team who are currently playing for a local footy team outside of school. They were amazing and never gave up with big smiles on their faces all day – well done girls!
The Campbell Primary School ‘Players Player Award’ went to Sari R and Lucy G. They received signed hats from AFLW players.
